Copying Quickbooks invoices from one company to another?

I looked, but couldn't find a dedicated Quickbooks newsgroup. If
someone knows of one, please let me know. Otherwise, my apologies if
this is too off-topic.

I'm the IT guy of a SMALL business (12 employees.) The front-office
lady has set up Quickbooks with a second "company file" for 2005. But
Jan and Feb invoices have until then been going into the old "company
file" that's been used for the last 3 years.
(They want to start using new company files for each year.)

Is there a way to export invoices from company file A to be imported
into company file B? I see how you can import IIF files, but can't find
anything on exporting.

Unfortunately there isn't an easy way to do that; there might be utilities
to do it. If you want to use new files each year, QuickBooks isn't the best
program to handle that. PeachTree and MYOB are automatically set up to roll
over each year, but you can do it after you're sure the information for the
prior year is complete (i.e., after the tax returns are done).
