Financial Knowledge....I need help ?

I am a C coder from computer science. I am going to give an interview
in a big financial firm for financial developer position in Chicago. I
don't know anything about financi world and I tried to read up some
stuff from wikipedia etc.

I want to know more about finance world. Is there some good tutorial
you guys can redirect me to. I want to know about shares, bonds,
derivates etc. But just randomly reading isn't helping me. I want to
read in a sequential manner where I can understand these facts better.

The best solution is still going through links in the internet if you
are constrained by time. I guess you must also gear up for things like
Letter of Credit and other financial instruments. Good luck.
