Hi All, Our 60 employee factory is looking for a good time clock.
Currently we just read the paper cards, write the hours down, and send
it off to our
payroll company. Since we subcontract the payroll, All we want is
something simple
that automatically exports the data to a pc in some easy to read
format,
such as excel or access or even a text file. We aren't too crazy about
bio devices (too fancy) or magnetic card readers (environment too
dirty).
Thanks for your help.

Jim,
Without a bio device or a card reader (whether magnetic or barcode),
how would the system know which employee is punching in? Do you
envision a terminal where they would first punch in an identifier (i.e.,
employee number)?
At any rate, try contacting someone like Acroprint, Simplex or
Cincinnati Time Recorder. I used to work for Acroprint and am familiar
with their products.

Virual time clock at http://www.redcort.com/timeclock.html is good. We
have a veterinary hospital that we service
that uses this with great success. Take a look at it, i believe there
is a demo you can try.
well worth your money.
